FAQ's
What is your background?
My first event was for friends back in the late 80's, and I quickly decided that it's something I loved to do and was already pretty good at. After getting my Bachelor's degree, I began working with major networks before making the move to California. Since then, it's been a steady stream of photography and video productions for individuals, and companies large and small.
What makes you unique?
My background is in live television production, where you've got to be in the right place at the right time, no excuses, no second takes. I still carry those lessons with me today.
Do we get to choose the music for the film?
In my pre-wedding questionnaire I will ask you about your music taste and style. I'll use this as a guide in choosing from legally licensed music to match the narrative of your film. If you think about a favorite movie, it probably contains music that you never heard before, but now associate with the story. I want to accomplish the same for you, making new associations that are unique to your wedding film alone.
Do you offer wedding photography?
I'm passionate about my wedding films, so I leave the still photography to the wonderful experts I've collaborated with in the past. Feel free to contact me for a list of referrals. Already have your photographer? Great, I work with new ones all the time and would love to collaborate in making your wedding day look and sound perfect.
How long until we see our film?
By limiting the number of weddings I capture every year, I'm typically able to deliver your online review within 60 days!
Why aren't your prices listed?
Every wedding is unique, and so are the requests I get. It would be unfair to us both to give you a price that might be significantly different based on your specific needs. Rest assured that I'll give you a fast and free quote based on the specifics of your day and any special requests you might have.
Do you travel?
My home base takes me from Monterey to Wine Country in California, but if you've got a special destination in mind, I'm happy to join.
